WORKING PRINCIPAL

  • Oil is pumped into the Centrifugal Oil Filter and directed into a hollow spindle
  • The oil is presses through a cross hole into the rotor of centrifuge
  • When the rotor is full with oil , the resulting force pushes the oil through two nozzles which are positioned in tangential direction and opposite to each other , in the bottom of rotor .
  • This causes the rotor to rotate at high speed.
  • The Centrifugal Forces thus created in the rotor causes the dirt particles / solid contaminants present accelerate radially and get deposited on the internal wall of the rotor. The centrifugal forces created are in multiples of the mass of the dirt and the gravity , hence particles in sub-micron level get captured in the Filter inside.
  • In course of this operation these deposits form a thick cake , which need to be removed at an internal.
